The UNCF Ernest E. Just internship program supports Black and African American undergraduate students pursuing careers in biomedical and life science research by connecting students to biopharmaceutical companies and leading academic research centers through an 11-week paid internship in New York and Boston. Competitive candidates will major in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or other life sciences.
Program Eligibility:
Students must:
- Be enrolled at a 4-year or post-graduate* institution
- Be a junior, senior, or graduate student (or sophomore with lab experience)
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Be available for the full 11-week program. (Program dates typically begin late May and conclude early August.
This application may take 60 minutes to complete. You are able to save your work throughout the application and return to complete it at a later time, if you need to.
